Hi,
I’m Dr. Sudhir Shivanna, born in 1978, graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences (India) in 2002. I have always been interested in Dentistry as a profession and had particular passion towards cosmetic dentistry and root canal treatment and hence studied masters in conservative dentistry and endodontics in 2004. I am proud to be one of top 10 in specialist university examinations in 2007. I have treated patients throughout my academic years and have been serving Mackay and regional community since 2010, my strength in dentistry is mastering gentleness and precision.

Though I enjoyed all aspects of general dentistry, due to my thrive to achieve aesthetic perfection, and passion towards implant dentistry, achieved further training from implant institute in Sydney. I have been doing implants since 2012, and have been successful in implant procedures using various implant systems including need for grafting. Have also received special training in treating malaligned teeth using Invisalign technique.

I have always considered that it’s important to be up-to-date about recent advancements and trends in dentistry and hence have been attending regular training to update my knowledge and to give the best results for my patients.

I absolutely fell in love with the simplicity of people in Mackay, the farming community and their experiences, the weather conditions and the huge range of fish varieties and fishing spots. I love spending my every extra minute I find with my patients discussing farming and fishing and would jump into every opportunity I find to do them. In my free time I’m an absolute farm boy working on my farm growing fruiting trees.
